Josh has been a recognized talent in goal from a young age. He played his Youth career out of the Phoenix Soccer Club and won the Bronze Medal at the U14 All-Star Nationals.
Josh was recruited by the MSA Provincial program where he was quickly recognized as one of the top Goal Keeper talents. In 2010 Josh was invited to the inaugural Provincial/RTC residential program, but opted instead to finish the advanced academic “IB” program offered at his school.
Josh joined Winnipeg Juventus in the Fall of 2010 and traveled with the team in the Spring of 2011 to North Carolina to play as starting Goalkeeper against Duke University and the 2011 National Champion UNC Men’s team. He was then given a very unique opportunity to travel to Brazil during the Summer of 2011 to train with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube (a Professional Team).
