Miguel Fictoria
Miguel joined Winnipeg Juventus in 2011 and immediately added to the international flavor that has become one of recognizable traits of the team. Because of his hard-working, quiet, decisive and accurate style of play, his teammates have likened him to Xavi.
Miguel traveled to North Carolina with Juventus in 2011 where he solidified his toughness by taking out one of the top ranked UNC midfielders (accidentally of course)! He went on to score 6 goals and assist on 4 within the 2011 MMSL season and helped Juventus win the Provincial Championship.
Traveling with the team to Montreal for the 2011 National Championships, Juventus claimed 3 out of the top 4 spots for the Golden Boot and yet the team voted Miguel as the overall MVP throughout the Nationals.
