Alaa Belrhazi
Alaa was born in Casablanca and moved to Winnipeg at the age of 8 – bringing the heritage of his Moroccan passion with him. He was a finalist in the MSA Cup at U14 and U16 and won the Provincial Championships at U18 with the Bonivital Flames.
As Alaa grew in size and become faster, so did his goal scoring ability. He developed a great nose for the goal with his top scoring season coming during one of his teen years where he averaged almost 2 goals and 2 assists per game.
Alaa doesn’t see himself as a flashy player, but his teammates believe he is a handful for any defender and at times brings a kind of magic that makes soccer a fantastic sport to watch him play.
