Elom Akpalo
Elom is the third oldest in a large family with 10 children. Born in Togo, West Africa, Elom played soccer for Togo’s National Junior Team for 2 years and was training with the Men’s National Team when his family decided to move to Canada 5 years ago.
Once landing in Canada Elom attended and graduated from Louis Riel High School and then went on to the University of St. Boniface where he is taking is second diploma in Nursing.
Elom joined Winnipeg Juventus during the Winter of 2010 and then took the early part of the 2011 season to play with the Winnipeg PDL team. He rejoined Juventus for the MSA Cup Tournament where he scored the final overtime Penalty Kick goal to win the tournament for Juventus.
